Tap&Stop Privacy Policy

Tap&Stop: Party Game (“Tap&Stop”) is a pass-the-phone timing game for 2–8 players. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.

We do not collect your data

Tap&Stop has no accounts, no servers of its own, no analytics, no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no tracking. It contains no third-party code and does not send anything over the internet. The developer never receives, sees, or stores anything you enter in the app.

What the app stores on your device

So your next game is quicker to set up, the app saves a few things on your device: the player names from your last game, House Rules presets you save (including the names you give them), which challenges are turned on, which challenge introductions you have already seen, your language choice, and whether sound and haptics are on. Scores and game results are not saved; they exist only while a game is in progress. This information stays on your device and is never sent to the developer or anyone else.

Permissions

Tap&Stop does not ask for any permissions. It does not use the camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, notifications, or motion sensors. Sounds are standard system sounds, and vibration uses the iPhone’s built-in haptic feedback; you can turn either off in the app’s Settings.

Apple services

Tap&Stop does not use Game Center, does not store anything in iCloud, and has no in-app purchases. Downloading and updating the app through the App Store, as well as device backups such as iCloud Backup (which may include the app’s settings if you have backups turned on), are handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may provide the developer with anonymous, aggregated statistics such as crash reports; these do not identify you.

Deleting your data

You can change or remove player names at any time on the Players screen. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.

Children

The app does not collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
