Bday+ Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
Bday+ helps you remember birthdays and plan gifts. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
We do not collect your data
Bday+ has no accounts, no servers of its own, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The developer never receives, sees, or stores anything you enter in the app.
What the app stores and where
Names, birthdays, photos, notes, gift ideas, and your settings are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, this data is also kept in your private iCloud database so it can sync between your own devices. That database belongs to your Apple Account and is protected by Apple; the developer has no access to it. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Contacts
If you choose to import birthdays from Contacts, the app asks for permission and reads only names (or a nickname or company name if there is no name), birthdays, and contact photos. The selected entries are saved in the app as described above. Nothing is uploaded anywhere else. You can revoke access at any time in iPhone Settings.
Photos
When you add a photo to a person, you pick it with the system photo picker. Only the picture you select is saved in the app.
Notifications
Birthday and gift reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push servers are involved.
Deleting your data
You can delete any person or gift inside the app. Deleting the app removes the data from your device. To remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings, then your name, then iCloud, then Manage Account Storage, and delete the Bday+ data.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
